NEACE 2009 Scholarships

Dear NEACE Member,

The Scholarship awards program is one of the most significant benefits our organization offers to its members. A long standing program, it is designed to assist circulation employees of NEACE member newspapers and their families help defray the cost of post-secondary education.

Realizing that the cost of education continues to rise, this year NEACE has increased the amount of each scholarship to $1,500. Five recipients will be chosen, and each winner will have up to 4 years to use the funds.

The process for applying is explained in the application. Information is also included for posting in your organization. Please encourage your employees and their families to apply for this valuable benefit. Please feel free to copy necessary material as needed.

All applications should be post marked no later than March 28th, 2009. Application mailing address is noted on the form.

All applications will be reviewed by an independent panel. Recipients will be announced at our annual spring conference banquet in Meredith New Hampshire on May 19th 2009. Awards will be paid directly to the educational institution each recipient is attending.
